The Math Circle of the Philippines in partnership with the Asian Psychological Services and Assessment Corporation (APSA)
will be holding its 6th Annual Convention on November 17-18, 2011 at the CSB Hotel International Conference Center, Arellano Ave., cor.
Estrada St. Malate, Manila. With the theme, Focusing on Raising Math Standards, the two-day seminar-workshop will focus on enhancing the Math curriculum,
improving classroom instruction and addressing the student needs learning Math. Topics include Updates on K+12 Math Curriculum;
Tapping the Potential of Students ; Cognitive Basis of Teaching and Learning Math, Benchmarking with Singaporean Math Curriculum and Instruction;
Math for Fun; Managing Students at Risk ;and Review on Global Mathematics Certification. Among the speakers are Ms. Elizabeth Catao of Deped; Mr. Fortunato Tacuboy III
of Philippine Science High School; Dr. Carlo Magno of De La Salle University; and Mr. Tetsu Yamaguchi of Japan Mathematics Global Certification.

The National Standards for School Counseling Programs and Vision into Action: Implementing the National Standards, will keynote the said convention.
